• How I won my dream job at a student festival
Every year, Linköping University hosts a big celebration event for new students, with a combined company fair and music festival. There, I won an idea competition held by Linköping Municipality. The prize was two months employment as a fully paid project leader, with the mission to make reality out of your idea!

• How I made my dream idea come to life from my dorm room
While I was given an office at NuLink, Linköping's local business organization, most of the work was actually done from 17 square meters in Norrköping. Being solely responsible for the whole project process, I had to use (and develop) my network towards its full potential. Because of the scale of the event, I needed support.
• How people from all across Sweden made my idea survive
Simply put, I would never have been able to fulfill Inspiration Camp without the help from friends, family and complete strangers. E.g. 700+ supported Inspiration Camp in the national youth competition "Do your thing". Because they liked my mission to give youths confidence in their ideas, in themselves and in others, they also spread the event to their friends through social media outreach.
As I studied 100% during the whole period, it was very important to be able to work at home in Norrköping as well as in Linköping. With my computer as my link to the world, I was responsible for planning, sponsorship, marketing, content and actually, everything else.

To my aid I had business advisors at NuLink and Linköping Municipality, and - the support from friends, family and strangers who supported my mission. Building up my professional network during my employment from April 2011 - November 2011 was essential for the success of Inspiration Camp. By myself, I would never have been able to take Inspiration Camp from idea to reality. Friends marketed the events to friends, and business contacts told business contacts about lecturers and sponsorship opportunities.

So, how did it go? Wonderful. Inspiration Camp was the hardest but best project I've ever done. Through trying to help others realize their ideas, I myself experienced exactly done. The youths was extremely happy with the event, as well as Linköping Municipality, my partners and supporters. Thank you, everyone who helped me!
